About Lake of the Ozarks Scout Reservation

Located on the Osage Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks near Laurie, Missouri, the Lake of the Ozarks Scout Reservation spans 450 acres with 1.5 miles of pristine shoreline. The reservation sits at mile marker 44, just one hour south of Jefferson City.

Camp Hohn, our 50+ year-old facility, is the heart of the reservation. Home to thirteen year-round campsites, the camp serves thousands of Scouts and families each year through Scouts BSA Summer Camp, Cub Scout programs, and year-round events.

The reservation also includes the Sinquefield Invention Campus, a world-class facility featuring an Invention Lab with laser engravers and 3D printers, a full woodworking shop, a metalworking building with six forges, and the Skills & Trades Building for electricity, automotive, and more.

Beyond our built facilities, the reservation features miles of hiking trails — including the Kit Carson Trail — natural areas for ecology and conservation programs, the COPE high-adventure course, climbing facilities, and one of the finest waterfront programs in the region.
